Taichung Central ParkCovering an area of about 67.34 hectares within the Shueinan Economic and Trade Park and reputed as the lungs of Taichung, the Taichung Central Park is a gigantic park designed based on the three principles of “smartness,” “low carbon,” and “innovation.” Installed with 12 world-leading sensory interactive facilities, the park is very different from any ordinary parks. The vast park area is planted with many green trees to present different landscapes. There are more than 10,000 trees in 106 species, of which 83% are native, making the park an urban oasis that is diverse and suitable for biological habitats. In the morning, you can run through the undulating terrain; in the afternoon, you can stroll in the shade under the gentle sunbeams passing through the trees; at dusk, you can climb to the self-experience zone at the uppermost point of the park to enjoy the sunset; at night, you can explore the mysterious forest ecology under the twinkling lights.
